Air wrenches are items that help in screwing in and unscrewing difficult screws. There are different types of airlocks, depending on their size and design.

The air wrench contains a rotor, which rotates with the air flow. As it spins, it produces energy which builds up and pushes into the hammer. In this way, an impact is created in combination with a torque, a force that is clearly greater than the force we exert by hand. In addition, air spanners are particularly useful for screwing-unscrewing bolts on cars and large structures.

The most common air spanners have a shaft with a ½ frame and accept nuts up to 24mm. The air supply is at ¼ and they need a Φ8 pipe to work properly, receiving torques between 35 and 85kg. For larger bolts you will need an air wrench with a larger frame shaft, ¾ or even 1. The air supply is larger on these, ⅜ maybe even ½ and they need 10mm and above tubes. Clearly these air wrenches offer higher torques, between 70 and up to 320kg.

The first air wrenches - smaller - are usually used by professionals in car workshops and vulcanizers, while the second, with much higher torque, are usually chosen by professionals who work with truck and tractor tires, since the vehicles are very large.
