Description
Flexible and permanent one-component silicone for applications in high temperature areas, ready to use in the automatic container. Silicone Seal gray is an alternative to conventional solid gaskets. It remains elastic, dimensionally stable and permanently waterproof. It bridges different sealing columns and is resistant to water, seawater, oil, grease, detergents, hydrocarbons, dilute acids and alkalis and many other chemicals. In addition, it is non-fading, UV-resistant, pollution-resistant and solvent-free.
Area of application
Metals (aluminium, cast iron, steel, etc.), plastics, glass, ceramics and wood seals, e.g. oil pans, valve covers, water and oil pumps, gear covers, differential seals, battery boxes, headlights, tail lights, protective housing, thermostat housing, transmission oil pans, gear housing, timing cover, Sachs drive covers, etc. universal application: engines and bodywork, heating and plant construction, air conditioning and more.
Application nodes
The sealing surface must be clean and free from dust, oil and grease. The old gasket must be removed. Apply to the desired thickness and connect the parts.
