The sabre saw is the ultimate "demolition" and cutting tool! Unlike a circular saw that needs care and straight lines, a sabre saw gets in everywhere. It's ideal for cutting thick wood, pallets, plastic pipes, metal profiles, and even for tearing out old window frames or drywall. It's the "beast" that takes on the toughest jobs on the construction site or during a renovation!

You can cut almost anything, as long as you use the right blade! The tool itself has the power. If you fit it with a metal-cutting blade (which usually has finer teeth), you can easily cut water pipes, sheet metal, nails, and even thick iron.

The golden rule lies in the teeth (TPI - Teeth Per Inch). If you want a fast, "rough" cut in wood, you choose a blade with large, widely spaced teeth. If you want to cut metal, you choose a blade with small, densely packed teeth. Of course, there are also Bi-Metal blades, which are general-purpose and can cut through wood with nails in it without breaking!

Absolutely! In fact, many professionals and DIYers buy it exclusively for this purpose. It's much lighter and handier than a chainsaw. You simply put on a special pruning blade (for green wood) and you can cut thick branches with huge ease and safety.

When you activate the pendulum action, the blade doesn't just go back and forth; it also makes a slight elliptical (up-and-down) movement. This gives incredible speed when cutting wood! But be careful: we use the pendulum action ONLY on wood. If you try to cut metal with the pendulum action on, you will most likely ruin your blade.

The stroke length (e.g., 28mm or 32mm) tells us how far "in and out" the blade travels with each movement. The higher this number, the faster the tool cuts and the better it clears sawdust from the cut. Large stroke lengths are perfect for thick wood.
