Very dry or acidic surfaces delay or prevent curing, while higher humidity levels and alkaline surfaces accelerate it.
Due to the vapor pressure of the liquid adhesive, the slow solidification of the excess product around the bonding area can create a white precipitate (blooming phenomenon). These are fumes from the hardening adhesive. You can remove them, for example, with isopropanol or acetone. However, it is important to note that the surfaces of the components to be cleaned are also resistant to these solvents. Blooming can be avoided/reduced by using less adhesive and ensuring sufficient humidity in the air and ventilation of the work area.
