The ideal solution, even for very hard porcelain tiles with Mohs hardness/scratch resistance level 9, as well as for glass and porcelain.
Specially designed bonded carbide plate geometry (multi-surface precision grinding)
High precision point drilling
Precise through drilling
No cooling required
Dry drilling
Notice
Max. rotation speed 200 rpm.
Not suitable for impact drilling. For rotary drilling only!
Optimum contact pressure 35-45 kg
If the recommended drilling speed is maintained and the optimum contact pressure is applied, but you no longer hear a “scraping” sound, the drill has reached the end of its useful life.
Avoid applying high contact pressure to the drill when it is not rotating→ Risk of breakage!
Too low contact pressure and/or too high punching speed → Premature end of useful life!
Avoid tilting and rotating movements during the drilling process→ Risk of breakage!
It is recommended to drill test holes (ideally in a useless piece of tile such as the one you will drill)
When using the 14 mm diameter drill, you must first drill a pilot hole with the additional integrated drill bit (8 mm).
Application area
Rotary drilling in stone slabs, tiles, glass (not safety glass) and porcelain. Ideal for electric and cordless drills.
Instructions
1. Start the hole with pinpoint accuracy, applying light pressure
2. Turn on the drill
3. Apply full contact pressure → A “scraping” sound should be heard
4. Use reduced contact pressure once the drill has fully penetrated the tile
