The test system of the North Rhine-Westphalia materials testing service considers absorption materials with an SRT value of up to 20% acceptable.
Type III/R oil absorbent material
Oil-binding material for special requirements on solid surfaces and pavements. It is also suitable for the commercial and industrial sectors. This type of binding material should not be waterproof or floatable.
